Family tradition
Romero de Ávila Salcedo
A 1598 shield, owned by our family, Romero de Ávila Salcedo, is still being preserved in the winery. It announces the long history of our family in the wine tradition.
The passion, experience and good work have been passed down from generation to generation in our family. Just as our ancestors taught us, we continue using the ancient technique of making wine in amphoras, a practically lost art, that is increasingly valued.
Romero de Ávila Salcedo was born to honor all our previous generations who started this family tradition of winegrowers and have passed on all their knowledge and wisdom.
