Romero de Ávila Salcedo

This wine shows the good work and experience of our winery, that is why we are proud to call it as our family name: Romero de Ávila Salcedo.

Family tradition

Romero de Ávila Salcedo

A 1598 shield, owned by our family, Romero de Ávila Salcedo, is still being preserved in the winery. It announces the long history of our family in the wine tradition.

The passion, experience and good work have been passed down from generation to generation in our family. Just as our ancestors taught us, we continue using the ancient technique of making wine in amphoras, a practically lost art, that is increasingly valued.

Romero de Ávila Salcedo was born to honor all our previous generations who started this family tradition of winegrowers and have passed on all their knowledge and wisdom.

Coupage of five

This five variety blend is a tribute to the centuries of history of our winemakers family in which the Tempranillo grape provides fruity and aromatic notes, Syrah brings power and smoothness, Cabernet Sauvignon structure and pleasant acidity, Merlot softness and elegance and Petit Verdot its power and body. All these wines have been aged in French and American oak barrels for 15 months.
